Let’s delivery!

It was a bit of a chilly and rainy Friday night when I first participated in the Delivery Boys outreach work of Akta. But the enormously kind and warm people that I met, both as my colleagues and the people I met in the many little bars of 2chome, made it a very worthwhile evening. I felt welcomed by so many, even though I barely speak Japanese yet and I had been afraid of being more of a burden rather then a help. I hope to be able to continue volunteering, and hope to be able to contribute more little by little. Sukoshizutsu 🙂

レッツデリバリー！

少し寒くて雨の降る金曜日の夜、

私はaktaのデリバリーボーイズの

活動に初めて参加しました。

一緒に活動したデリバリーボーイズの

皆さんやアウトリーチで廻った

二丁目の沢山のお店の皆さん、

とても親切で心暖まる方々との出会いが

あり、本当に貴重な夜を過ごす

事ができました。

私はまだ日本語もほとんど話せない

ですし、役に立つよりむしろ皆さんの

お荷物になってしまったと不安な

気持ちもありましたが、たくさんの

方々に暖かく歓迎して頂いたと

感じています。

これからもボランティアを続けて、

もっと皆さんの役に立てるようになれたら

嬉しいです。

少しずつ。。。
